Working as a substitute for the Sioux City Community School District allows you to choose your own schedule, have weekends and evenings off, and make a positive difference in your community. Our substitutes play a significant role in providing effective and efficient public education for all. The SCCSD offers substitute positions in several teaching and non-teaching fields including bus drivers and assistants, food service staff, building service technicians, operations and maintenance, secretarial, and instructional assistants.
