The purpose of the SCCSD Employee Wellness Program is to improve the health and well-being of our staff members through general health incentives, UHC health incentives, and much more. The goal of the Employee Wellness Program is to encourage Sioux City Community School District staff to manage their health, boost morale and motivation, and improve quality of life.  

EAP services are available to employees and their dependents who are covered by the District’s Health Plan. Services include 24/7 unlimited, confidential, and professional services to help find solutions for health concerns, personal and family issues, along with work challenges that you may be facing.  This service gives you a wide range of health and well-being information through a toll-free telephone number at no cost to you.

Behavioral health coverage is available to all members and their dependents covered by the District’s health plan. What is a virtual visit? Virtual visits provide quick and easy access to health professionals from your mobile device, tablet, or computer.  During a virtual visit, you use your personal device, like your smartphone, tablet or computer, to talk with a provider. You can get treatment options and even prescriptions for medications, if needed, during the visit.

Sign in to your health plan account or call the number on your member ID card to check your benefits for virtual visit coverage.

UHC Rewards is a program designed to help SCCSD employees improve and maintain their health. UHC Rewards offers personalized recommendations to help employees move more, eat better, and stress less.
