Keith Juelfs, Fifth Grade Teacher @ Morningside STEM Elementary School

“Keith has been an integral part of our staff over the years. He makes sure kids are responsible and prepared for assessments. Kids relate to his sense of humor and enjoy his classes—especially when they include STEM and other fun activities. Congratulations, Keith!”

Lori Evers & Billie Stitt, Registrar & Instructional Assistant @ Morningside STEM Elementary School

“Lori always works so hard. She is the go-to person for questions and always has an answer. Lori truly goes above and beyond when completing her daily tasks and additional tasks that may arise each day. Billie cares for students, works in small groups, covers for staff, and assists whenever needed. Her skills with children, her loving demeanor, and her flexibility make her a vital part of our staff. Billie will be greatly missed at Morningside Elementary after retiring this year!”

Lonnel Howard, Office Assistant @ Loess Hills Computer Programming Elementary School

“Lonnel brings so much joy and love to everyone who enters the building. She has been in the district for 26 years now. Throughout her career with the District, she has worked at East Middle School, Sunnyside, Emerson, Roosevelt, and Loess Hills Computer Programming Elementary Schools. Lonnel can always be found with a smile on her face. She loves making everyone’s day a little brighter with small things such as a special penny found in the parking lot, a pinecone from her yard, or a touching note. Lonnel is one of a kind! We are thankful for everything she has done for our District over the years.”

Trisha Neumann, Math Teacher @ East Middle School

“Mrs. Neumann preps for 6th-grade core math, 6th-grade accelerated math, and 8th-grade accelerated math. In addition to the countless hours she devotes to curriculum planning, she goes above and beyond in other ways. Mrs. Neumann ensures math bee students are engaged in activities, fills in as a substitute when needed, and helps students during after-school homework help sessions. We appreciate her dedication and commitment to our staff and students!”
