👩‍🏫 Career Fair Announcement 👩‍🏫 Join us on February 20 from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM at North Middle School (2101 Outer Drive North) to learn more about current part-time, full-time, and flexible job openings in the Sioux City Community School District! Siouxlanders interested in applying for the following positions are encouraged to attend. -- Food Service (Lunchroom) Elementary – $16.15/hr Secondary – $16.69/hr ➡️ For those interested, on-site food service interviews will take place from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. -- Instructional Assistants (SPED) Starting at $15.10/hr Wage based on experience or degree endorsements. -- Bus Assistants *FREE CDL Training Provided* $15.00/hr -- Bus Drivers Starting at $21.31/hr -- Summer Positions Including: Painting Landscaping Mowing Weed Eating Bus Washing -- The District’s Human Resources team will also be on hand to answer questions about the application process, pay and benefit information, and more. 🚨 Weather Alert 🚨 Due to impending weather which may cause hazardous driving conditions, all schools will dismiss two hours early today (12/8/22). Elementary schools will dismiss at 1:30 pm, middle schools will dismiss at 12:45 pm, and high schools will dismiss at 12:55 pm. All after school and evening activities are also canceled. In addition, the ESC building downtown will close at 2:00 pm.

This fair offers a chance for you to meet with teachers from all walks of the teaching profession, including students, recent graduates, and seasoned teachers. You will find a variety of positions for all levels of teaching. Our district will be on-site to talk with dedicated, highly qualified teachers about all that we have to offer. 🗣Advocate for Public Education 🗣 We are looking for more volunteers to join our District’s Grassroots Advocacy Committee. If you have a passion for supporting public education, consider joining this committee. The Grassroots Advocacy Team is an important resource for the District to disseminate information about important legislative priorities. While you will never be required to attend a meeting, as a volunteer advocate, you will receive email updates about important legislation impacting our school and be asked to contact legislators to advocate on our behalf.
